You would never guess that 7 weeks are past by now and our first ultrasound has been taken. Imagine our delight when we found out our baby has a halo! That must mean he/she has angels for parents (we can't see how it could be described any other way). If you do not believe us, just check the photo for yourself.
The only further excitement was hearing the baby's heartbeat, and man were we glad to hear that (and yes, we only had one heartbeat, not two -- we are not sure what that says about the mom though...) The baby is healthy, and apart from the occasional morning sickness the mom is too.
