We'll let me tell you how busy this week has been for us. People always state to expect the unexpected but we couldn't have planned this, this early if we really wanted to. The past two days have been exhausting, for both of us and we are just glad to be able to be at home and relax (sort of) for a few hours.
As you can tell from the title, there obviously has been a fairly big change or an introduction of something in our lives that has just caused a few headaches and frustrations and ultimately joy. It was definitely a bit challenging at first, but we got the hang of it and all has come together now.
The new arrival(s) looks and feels incredible, we couldn't be more happy. Of course, we are referring to the crib, the glider, the valences, the bouncer, shoes, clothes, etc; even though the mom wishes it were January and that the baby was here now! What else would you be thinking about?!? The items just make the nursery feel more complete and more prepared for its future resident.
So go check out the photos already:
All jokes aside, the mom has been tired quite a bit lately due to a low iron count, but that is now under control. Doctor visits are now twice a month now as mom starts to count the weeks (I at least warned her to tell me when she starts to count days so I know to get prepared).
We would like to also extend a special thanks to Auntie Amber and Great (as in old :-P) Auntie Sheila for the fantastic job with the Baby Shower on November 7th. Your planning and hard work really showed and we greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Kami, Matt, Baby Girl Wilkin, and Spunky
