On May 27th, we had our 4 month checkup for Brianne. She weighed in at 15 pounds and 25.1 inches long. She is in the 80th percentile in both height and weight.
Since the two month checkup, we have added an ExerSaucer and a Walker to our family room of toys. Both of them are quite enjoyable, although Kami says I should let Brianne have a try at them. I just can't get over how catchy the tune is that the chameleon plays. "I'm Red.. I'm Yellow.. I'm Blluueee. Ew Ew Ew" :)
Spunky is now the biggest joke or funniest "person" in our family now. Brianne will just smile and laugh at him all day long. That poor pup doesn't know what he is in for, I can only imagine she is laughing because she knows its only a few more weeks to months before she is crawling after him.
Brianne is also twisting and turning a lot when placed on the floor. She is also able to turn her self over once she is on her side. Brianne is sitting up fairly well now and has better control of holding up her head. She also likes to stand and shake that booty of hers (I'm not quite sure what to think about that at this point, but she seems happy about it).
She has started to teeth (but none have popped through yet) which has made some nights very interesting and loud, but I guess I should get used to that.
We also celebrated our first Mother's Day. Mom got the best present she could ever ask for... a nap! She was thrilled (she also got to pick where she wanted to go for dinner, etc., etc.; but nothing compared to that nap!).
