Brianne,
Where do I even begin? You are such a wonderful person to have in our lives. You are caring, loving, happy, funny, occasionally decisive, and full of imagination. Believe it or not, that's a lot to have bundled up and we wouldn't have it any other way. How is it that you will be turning 4 early next year?
You've begun the process of learning to play games (the right way) and do really well at it. From taking turns, to following directions, you've got the attention span to see them through now. As your attention span has grown, so has your attention to detail. You'll spot the slightest thing off or not placed in the right location. These characteristics will come in handy as school gets closer and closer.
Expressionism is your art form. You love to draw, paint, color, anything falls into the art category, is your way to express yourself. From simple water colors to stencils, you'll do it all. Some days you can do it for hours, others it only takes a short while, but in either case, the end result is still a one of a kind Brianne original. Please continue to find a safe and wonderful outlet to show yourself. Painting has been an awesome way for you to clear your mind as you work diligently on each master piece.
Along with your art, your imagination has just taken off. We are constantly finding ourselves watching you interact with TV characters who are now with you in our living room, or your Uncles and Aunts, etc. From having parties, to an adventure, or just talking with each other, you seem to have a lot of fun with them. Continue to let this imagination grow, but don't blur the lines between reality and imaginary. Your imagination will always keep you seeking new opportunities, new adventures, and we look forward to those moments.
Your nurturing spirit is greatly apparent and appreciated, from taking care of flowers, checking on your brother when he cries, and ensuring Mommy and Daddy are "okay", you simply care for others. We can't tell you how proud we are to see you exhibit this characteristic, it is truly a blessing some days. Your nurturing spirit lets you see past the object that is there and just notice that it is beautiful as it is. A weed isn't a weed to you, it is a beautiful yellow flower.
Much like your brother (or he is much like you), adventure is always around the corner for you. You love to try new things (including camping) to which you usually respond "Let's try that again!" Keep up the adventurous spirit, it will definitely help give you memories that will last a life time.
Let's not forget about your singing abilities. You love to sing, dance, and play and anytime you can get someone else involved, you will (Daddy knows, he has been your dance partner many times)! We love hearing you sing the songs on the radio, from CDs, television shows, etc. We love that you'll ask us to turn off the TV so we can play music; we just love that you like to share your love for singing and dancing with us.
Mommy and I can't wait to see what new adventures, characteristics, and attributes you pick up over the upcoming year. We hope to be there when you need us, to let you be free when you need to learn something on your own, and to be a guide when you seek help. We hope to be the role models that you look up to and mimic your decisions and actions from.
We love you,
Mommy and Daddy
