Can you believe it? We sold our house after moving back... No more than 30 days of being back we were under contract, closed 30 days later and then moved back to Columbus 30 days after that! Crazy right? Well our daughter was excited! Don't get me wrong, she loved the house and the room it provided her, the yard it gave her to play, and seeing old friends and family far more often. However, she missed Columbus greatly. She missed her old church, her friends, the zoo, splash pads, parks, etc.
After we moved and officially stayed one night, she came down the stairs and asked Mommy how she slept. Mommy replied "I slept well, how did you sleep?" to which she replied "I slept good, I love our new house". That was music to our ears, we did nothing but pray that we'd find the right place for us for this given moment in our lives and that statement confirmed it.
While in Lima, Brianne got to attend her Auntie Megan and Auntie Amber's baby showers! She was super excited (especially since they let her help open the presents). Then the day following Auntie Amber's baby shower, Auntie Megan had her baby, which made Brianne even more excited. For the next week that we were still in Lima, Brianne was constantly asking to go see Baby Olivia. She even held her a few times both assisted and unassisted (while sitting in a chair).
Once back in Columbus, it didn't take long before splash pads and the zoo were on the top of the list of things to do (weekly). Then of course there was the kiddie pool we setup in our backyard too. That has seen a lot of use (when it hasn't been raining).
Lastly, in this past month Brianne had her first chiropractor visit. Mommy just wanted her to be checked out since she sort of took a tumble down the deck steps.... in the cozy coupe (toy car). Brianne did great! She let Dr. Steve check her over without making much of a fuss and even survived the adjustment with no fuss.
Well that is the latest of our very active, always going, never stopping daughter for the past month and a half. I haven't a clue what she will do next, but I imagine it will be non-stop. In the meantime, please enjoy the following photos.
